Amanda Brown joined APA as an Associate in June of 2005, after interning with the firm during her final semester of college.  She holds a BS in Advertising and a BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Colorado at Denver.  While with the firm, she has worked in over fifteen states focusing on issues of school funding adequacy and the cost implications of No Child Left Behind.  She has contributed to several studies examining school finance in Colorado, including the cost of providing preschool programs and the additional resources needed to serve small schools.
