Jennifer Kramer-Wine is a Senior Associate at APA. Her immediate past experience was as a self-employed organizational development consultant through which she partnered with ten organizations including Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, Grantmakers for Education, Third Mile Group, Education Commission of the States, and Colorado's Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund.  A sample of her work with these organizations include: creating strategic plans, leading mission creation processes, developing comprehensive fundraising plans, creating and maintaining systems for projects and providing board development support.  Prior to her life as a consultant, she was a member of the Schott Foundation for Public Education's team (www.schottfoundation.org). At Schott, she focused on strategic grantmaking to increase state government funding to New York State public schools, which recently became law in New York.  Jennifer is a former high school social studies teacher. She has taught in the Cincinnati Public School system, in Ohio and in the Valley Stream Central High School District, in New York. Jennifer currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Urban Learning Communities, a non-profit organization in Denver that runs P.S.1 Charter School (www.ps1charterschool.org). Jennifer holds a MPA from Baruch College, which is part of the City University of New York. She also earned a BA in History and a BS in Secondary Education from the University of Cincinnati.
